And you are suggested to maintain a sleep note for a week or two, keeping track of your sleep patterns and how you feel during the day and also before going to sleep. Sometimes you may be suggested to visit a sleep center for special tests.

Insomnia can be cured by practicing good health and sleep habits. When you are suffering from Insomnia it makes hard for you to work because you are sleepy and tired, your doctor may prescribe sleeping pills for a limited time. Avoid taking too many pills for Insomnia as it may have undesired side effects.
Incase if Insomnia caused by health conditions than it can be cured by treating health conditions. Still if Insomnia continues you may be advised to behavioral therapy. It can also cured by fallowing simple techniques like sleep restrictions, relaxation exercises etc.
Good Sleep Habits to avoid Insomnia
· Avoid taking naps during the day
· Avoid drinking alcohol and taking nicotine or caffeine late in the day
· Do exercise regularly but never try to exercise before the time you go to sleep
· Don’t have heavy meals before bedtime
· A light snack may help you sleep before bedtime
· Sleep with a pen and notepad,when you find yourself lying awake worrying about things,just make a note of these things before you go to bed.This helps you not to think about those worries during night
· Making a habit of reading a book, listening to music or taking a bath may help you relax before bedtime
· Never use your bed for anything other than sleep or sex.
